Being well-balanced means also taking time to take care of yourself.
Communicating to others that you need some “Me Time” is important to recharge your body, emotions, and spirit. A great way to help reduce some stress from a long day of work is to run warm water in your bathtub, add some bubble/body wash, and relax every muscle in your body. Have 15 minutes of silence with no interruptions. If you have loved ones that live with you, tell them “you’re taking 15 minutes of a break” if they need to use the restroom they should use another restroom, or ‘hold it’ till your done. I like to take bubble baths once I know my body is tensed up and needs to release some energy.
