Moïse Jean-Charles and Guy Philippe: A Republican Agreement

Faced with the crisis in Haiti and the proven incapacity of Ariel Henry’s de facto and unpopular transition government, many political players and members of civil society are trying to show their inventiveness in proposing solutions, but above all, “solutions made in Haiti”.

Two former senators of the Republic, Guy Philippe, considered to be the main opponent, and Moïse Jean-Charles, have joined forces to propose a new alternative to the Haitian people, in the best interests of the Nation.

Moïse Jean-Charles, a specialist in Haiti’s socio-political aspects, declared in radio Panel Magic on Friday that he had reached an agreement with former senator Guy Philippe to save Haiti.

Guy Philippe, known for his security expertise and military intelligence, confirmed the news in a live interview on VOA conducted by Valério Saint-Louis and watched by 19,000 people: « often speak with Senator Moïse Jean-Charles. Haiti is always at the heart of our exchanges. Our two teams are seriously working on a plan to get out of the crisis. I have instructed my team to get in touch with all the political and civil society leaders to widen the Republican arc to face this illegitimate, illegal, bloodthirsty, corrupt, and puppet government. People are fed up with not being able to go about their business. Security must be re-established in the country. The diaspora must be integrated into national life. We must create a standard of living for our fellow citizens and put an end to the brain drain ».

Indeed, the last two weeks have been punctuated by many protestations against Ariel Henry’s de facto transitional government, which is seeking to stay in power forever, leaving the country and its institutions in ruins and its people in distress.

The February 07 massacre perpetrated by the national police in a cowardly ambush killed five (05) agents (BSAP) and other civilians at Laboule 12.

Many institutions, notably the OPC, denounce this crime committed by the national police, undoubtedly instrumentalized by the Prime Minister’s office, and demand transparent investigations.
